DESCRIPTION:Join the Palo Alto Art Center for a free Photography Family Day\, August 6\, 2-4:30 p.m.\, at the Art Center. The day's events will feature artmaking activities led by teaching artists\, sunprints\, photo collage candle holders\, "finish the picture" drawings\, and a photo scavenger hunt with prizes. Artist-in-residence Kija Lucas will also take your family portrait with a carnival twist in our pop-up photo studio. There will also be a live performance and Samba & Rhythm workshop with the Brazilian band Trio Terra at 4 p.m. All ages are welcome.
