Film Screening of ''Girl Rising''

Deborah's Palm presents: "Girl Rising" - a new documentary about girls and education. This special film screening will be shown at the Aquarius Theatre on Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m. Academy Award-nominated director Richard E. Robbins presents a film that vividly testifies that providing a girl in a developing country with just a few years of education, can break the cycle of poverty in a way that reverberates throughout a community. The Aquarius Theatre is located at 430 Emerson Street in Palo Alto. Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased by going to the Landmark Theatre website. All proceeds from this film go to supporting the programs for women at Deborah's Palm. Hope you can join us!
