IP Issues in Employment Law

The Palo Alto Area Bar Association's Intellectual Property Committee presents a one-hour continuing legal education seminar on intellectual property issues in employment law. Employment attorney Gretchen Birkheimer, patent attorney and designer Steven Colby, and intellectual property attorney Soyeun D. Choi will discuss common intellectual property issues that arise in employment law, including protection of trade secrets, non-disclosure agreements, copyright and trademark protection, the "shop right" doctrine, and confidentiality provisions in severance and settlement agreements. One hour of MCLE credit will be provided. Lunch is provided. One unit of general MCLE credit will be provided. Lunch is provided.
