One From the Heart Awards Breakfast

Pathways Home Health & Hospice will holds its 25th annual One From the Heart Awards Breakfast to raise vital funds for healthcare services and honor leadership in healthcare and philanthropy. This year's featured speaker is nationally renowned radio broadcaster Michael Krasny, Ph.D, host of KQED's Forum. Each year Pathways honors community members who have made a significant contribution to healthcare. Rita Williams, retired KTVU Channel 2 News reporter and recipient of multiple Emmy, Peabody, and Murrow awards, will again lead the breakfast as Master of Ceremonies. This year's Leadership in Healthcare Award will be presented to one of the most distinguished physicians in the Bay Area, Dr. Richard Slavin, CEO of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Long-time Pathways supporters, Dr. Slavin and his wife Sally reside in Los Altos. Pathways Foundation Board Chair Mark Kelsey, senior vice president of Pacific Midwest Regional Banking at Wells Fargo, will receive the Leadership in Healthcare Philanthropy Award.
