Pace Opening Reception for Tim Hawkinson

Palo Alto – Pace Gallery is pleased to present Tim Hawkinson’s sixth solo show with the gallery since joining in 2005 and his first in Palo Alto. As a painter, draftsman and sculptor, Hawkinson has become renowned for his ability to manipulate what is most familiar to us in ways that make us examine them closer, from previously unimaginable perspectives, and with a new sense of wonder. Focusing on Hawkinson’s limitless imagination and ability to create new forms of perception, Hawkinson's exhibition will be on view at 229 Hamilton Ave, Palo Alto from July 26th until September 9th, with an opening reception held for the artist on July 25th from 4 to 7 p.m.
