Rare Fruit Tree Sale

Common Ground is proud to have Tierra Madre Farm, a small Santa Cruz family farm specializing in rare and old-timey fruit tree varieties. Rubinette Apple, Belle Lucrative Pear, Burgundy Asian Plum, Nijisseiki Pear, and Cripps Red Apple are some of the varieties grown with organic practices on four acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Trees will be available in 5-gallon pots. The farm is a California-licensed Tree Nursery, and the trees will soon be officially certified organic. Owner and longtime farmer Shane Murphy has combined his years of experience farming and his love of growing lesser-known tasty fruits to create a delicious and rare selection of fruit trees.
