Redwood Symphony - Mahler #8

Mahler's Eighth Symphony uses a gigantic orchestra, eight vocal soloists, two large choruses, a children’s chorus, an extra brass band and an organ. The grand first movement is a setting of a Latin hymn, while the second movement captures the final scene of Goethe’s Faust.
