Art Ventures Gallery proudly invites you to “Susan Richardson: Enchanted Conversations and Broken Dreams” a solo show by award-winning artist Susan Richardson. The exhibit runs from August 15 – September 18, 2018. Inspired by two novels by F. Scott Fitzgerald – The Great Gatsby and Tender is the Night, Richardson combines lush paint and collage using hand-lettering and printed text in bold, colorful canvases that express the universal stories and emotions of Fitzgerald’s world and our own. Her unique work is layered and complex. Viewers often experience a deep personal connection to the stories and passions this work evokes.

We invite you to experience the luscious extravagance of the Jazz Age at the Opening Reception for this show on Wednesday evening, August 15th at 7 pm. Also, get to know the artist at a Conversation with Susan Richardson, hosted by Katherina Powers, director and curator, on Saturday, September 15th at 3 pm.
