Walking Tech Tour of Palo Alto - Chamber Networking Event
Want to see where many of today's global internet giants got their start - where many of today's tech entrepreneurs and next-gen game-changers are working today? It's all revealed in this special, guided walking tour of downtown Palo Alto, the birthplace of Silicon Valley and still the epicenter of the innovation economy.
Join your host, Bryan Lip of Houzz (another Palo Alto success story!), as he shows you where Google, Facebook, Paypal and others got their start (after the garages of course), including downtown's famous "lucky buildings."
Start with light libations at the Chamber of Commerce offices (355 Alma) from 5-5:30 pm. Then follow your guide to the nearby downtown sights as you hear the stories of how Palo Alto gave birth to so many internet sensations that started here and is the home of many today. Finish your tour with a reception at b8ta, the first brick-and-mortar retailer "architected" to help you discover, experience and buy the latest tech and IoT products.
